Position Reporting:
This position is part of Sunday Cool – Content & Marketing Team reporting to the Content Manager
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm [40 hours/week].
Extended hours may be required for off-site events or after-hours recording. Position is on-site in Tavares, Florida.
Compensation:
The starting salary for this position is $40,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:
In this role, you will be responsible for editing high-quality short-form video content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. Your time and responsibilities will be allocated as follows:
- 70% supporting Sunday Cool content and initiatives
- 30% supporting Ninjas Are Butterflies (NAB) content and initiatives
Primary Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos and reels from raw footage, delivering polished and engaging content optimized for digital and social platforms
- Incorporate visual and audio enhancements including motion graphics, text overlays, music, and sound effects
- Collaborate with content coordinators, brand managers, and marketing leads to interpret creative direction and meet content deadlines
- Repurpose long-form footage into short-form social-ready formats
- Maintain organized file systems and editing workflows
- Stay informed on current video trends, platform algorithms, and audience engagement best practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional or freelance experience in video editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (experience with After Effects is a plus)
- Strong understanding of short-form video storytelling, pacing, and comedic timing
- Familiarity with platform-specific requirements for vertical video content
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with a team
- A strong work ethic and commitment to producing creative, on-brand content in a timely manner
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.

During the first 90 days we will be equipping you with the necessary resources and training you specifically for the above position. Sunday Cool has a 90-day probationary period for all new employees, which includes a 30, 60 & 90-day feedback meeting with your direct leadership team to gain helpful insight, glean new perspectives, discuss positive performance, and address any areas needing improvement. Before the conclusion of your probationary period, you will be tested on the Art Department-provided handbook, policies and procedures, as well as products to qualify you. All staff artists are required to pass with a 95% or above to qualify as an employee of Sunday Cool. Sunday Cool, LLC reserves the right to terminate the employment of any employee at any time without notice and without payment in lieu of notice, subject to the laws of the State of Florida.
We pay biweekly (Every other week) on Fridays. Pay is based on eighty standard hours per pay period and Sunday Cool has 26 pay periods/year.
Sunday Cool is a drug-free workplace. The company reserves the right to conduct drug testing on all employees. In the event of a workplace accident the impacted employee will be required to be tested for drugs.
