Position Reporting:

This position is part of Sunday Cool - Finance Department reporting to the Controller.

‍

Work Schedule:  

‍Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm [40 hours/week], 8-week commitment preferred.

Compensation:

Salary starting at $37,000 annually, based on experience and skills.

Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:

The Purchasing Coordinator will handle the day-to-daypurchasing for Sunday Cool. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for recurring bulk inventory purchases and consumable inventory items. The Purchasing Coordinator must have strongcommunication skills in order to communicate inventory and sales order issueswith several internal departments.

  • Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
  • Assesses current inventory availability; reasonably predicts future availability based on reports, delivery systems, and other variables.
  • Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Responsible for keeping inventory of operation materials and supplies
  • Coordinates removal or disposal of surplus materials.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of materials and supplies used in the company.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel Suite
  • Knowledge and ability to use Salesforce.com
