Position Reporting:
This position is part of Sunday Cool – Finance Department reporting to the Controller.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm [40 hours/week]. Extended hours may be required during the peak of busy season, running May-July.
Compensation:
$45,000 per year, based on experience and skills.
Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:
The Promotional Products Specialist is responsible for sourcing, developing, and managing all promotional product offerings at Sunday Cool. This role oversees vendor relationships, negotiates pricing, manages product quality, and partners closely with our Art, Production, and Client Experience teams to bring unique, on‑brand merchandise to life. This person ensures we’re not just finding products that “work,” but curating and creating products that feel distinctly Sunday Cool.
Responsibilities:
Product Sourcing & Development
- Research, source, and evaluate promotional products through ASI and other industry channels.
Vendor & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ASI suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and timelines to ensure competitive rates and reliable fulfillment.
- Track vendor performance and address quality or service issues proactively.
Project & Order Management
- Manage all promo product orders from sourcing to delivery.
- Ensure accurate quoting, timelines, proofs, and production details.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and execution.
- Maintain organized records of product specs, samples, pricing, and order history.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Review samples, proofs, and production runs to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshoot product issues and implement corrective actions with vendors.
- Ensure all products meet Sunday Cool’s brand standards and client expectations.
Trade Shows & Industry Engagement
- Attend ASI shows, vendor showcases, and relevant conferences to stay current on trends and opportunities.
- Bring back insights, samples, and product recommendations to expand our offerings.
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in promotional products, merchandising, ASI, or related sourcing roles REQUIRED
- Strong negotiation and vendor‑management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative eye for product trends, branding, and customer experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, highly creative environment.
- Resourceful, efficient, and highly organized.
- Task-driven and time-sensitive.
- Self-starting and takes initiative.

- Comfortable working in a Mac environment.

During the first 90 days we will be equipping you with the necessary resources and training you specifically for the above position. Sunday Cool has a 90-day probationary period for all new employees, which includes a 30, 60 & 90-day feedback meeting with your direct leadership team to gain helpful insight, glean new perspectives, discuss positive performance, and address any areas needing improvement. Before the conclusion of your probationary period, you will be tested on the Art Department-provided handbook, policies and procedures, as well as products to qualify you. All staff artists are required to pass with a 95% or above to qualify as an employee of Sunday Cool. Sunday Cool, LLC reserves the right to terminate the employment of any employee at any time without notice and without payment in lieu of notice, subject to the laws of the State of Florida.
We pay biweekly (Every other week) on Fridays. Pay is based on eighty standard hours per pay period and Sunday Cool has 26 pay periods/year.
Sunday Cool is a drug-free workplace. The company reserves the right to conduct drug testing on all employees. In the event of a workplace accident the impacted employee will be required to be tested for drugs.
