Position Reporting:

This position is part of Sunday Cool – ArtDepartment, reporting to the Art Manager and Creative Director.

Work Schedule:  

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm [40 hours/week].  

Overtime maybe required based on workload and client/sales demands. This position will likely require overtime or weekend work during the peak of busy season, runningMay–July.

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position is $17-$18 /hour

The Art Consultant’s main area of focus is to guide clients through the creative process, ensuring their vision is translated into clear and accurate Art Request Forms(ARFs) and communicated effectively to the Art Department. The Art Consultant serves as a client-facing representative of Sunday Cool’s creativity, balancing creative direction, technical accuracy, and excellent customer service.

This is a leadership position. Act as the department’s resident expert in consult processes, tools, andclient interaction, proactively identifying opportunities and vulnerabilities within workflows. Take initiative to recommend and implement improvements, lead by example for junior team members, and consistently elevate both the client experience and internal efficiencies.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct consults (Art Consults, Multiple Consults, Revision Consults) with clients viaZoom or phone to clarify design direction.
  • Accurately complete, edit, and submit ARFs using provided guidelines.
  • Ensure Art-Request-Forms are reviewed and pass the Flight Check process to avoid errors and delays.
  • Summarize consult discussions, upload notes, and update Wrike for artist visibility.
  • Proactively identify upselling opportunities during consults, suggesting additional products, enhancements, or creative ideas.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Manage revision consults, updating clients and artists efficiently and accurately.
  • Support client satisfaction by addressing concerns and helping resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain consult scheduling through Calendly, Salesforce, and Wrike.
  • Regularly review the Consults dashboard looking for QC opportunities and client satisfaction.
  • Uphold quality standards by ensuring all consult-related jobs are approved in the Consult ArtApproval channel before upload.
  • Contribute to creative and trend research during downtime to enhance department innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Art, Sales, and Production teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Review of Opportunities and Vulnerabilities and pro active problem solving to continuously improve the department and client experience.

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong communication, listening, and client service skills.
  • Capable of multitasking multiple consults and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Communications a plus.
  • Knowledge ofAdobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creative Suite a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a Mac environment.
  • Screen printing knowledge a plus.

Physical Requirements:  

This position requires the employee to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
