Apply below to join the Sales Team as a Client Onboarding Specialist

Position Reporting:

This position is part of Sunday Cool – Sales Team reporting to the Sales Team Lead.

‍

Work Schedule:

‍Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm [40 hours/week].

Overtime may be required based on workload and production demands. This position will be likely to have overtime or weekend work during the peak of busy season, running May-July.

‍

Compensation:

Starting hourly rate of $16/ hour; compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

‍

About the Role:

The Onboarding Specialist is the first real conversation a new prospect has with Sunday Cool. This seat picks up every new lead — Free Stuff surveys, conference contacts, poster scans, website inquiries, and purchased prospect lists — gets them on the phone fast, learns their ministry and their calendar, and hands a warm, well-documented relationship to a Project Advisor when the client is ready to quote.

‍

What You'll Do

  • Speed to lead. Own the first touch on every new lead. Phone first, text and email second, within one business day. A lead that waits is a lead that goes somewhere else.
  • Discovery. Run a real conversation, not a script: who they are, what their ministry does, how big it is, what is on the calendar for the next twelve months, and what they have ordered before and from whom. Capture it in Salesforce so nobody has to ask twice.
  • Nurture with generosity. Use samples, tiny tees, Wow Boxes, and seasonal gifts as the excuse to call again. Decide what each prospect gets and when, and follow every gift with a conversation.
  • Opportunity posting. Turn every event mentioned into a posted opportunity with a name, date, estimated quantity, and the right Project Advisor on it. This is how the pipeline fills before anyone asks for a quote.
  • The handoff. When a prospect is ready to quote, introduce the Project Advisor personally — a three-way call or a warm email with the full discovery notes — and stay available until the first order ships. The client should never feel passed along.
  • Campaign follow-through. Be the person who works the leads Marketing generates: poster scans, brochure responses, conference lists, Woothoop+ engagement. Report back what converted and what did not so the next campaign is better.
  • Aged-lead recovery. Work the backlog of surveys and leads that never got a call. Qualify them, re-engage the good ones, and close out the dead ones so the database tells the truth.
  • Lead data integrity. Keep lead source, buying matrix, ministry type, and contact details clean and complete on every record this seat touches.

What You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or an administrative role
  • Highly organized and a strong multi-tasker, comfortable juggling several communication channels at once
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; friendly and personable, especially over live chat
  • Experience with a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) preferred
  • Comfortable with a high volume of leads, inquiries, and repetitive process steps
  • Detail-oriented and able to track fulfillment/inventory accurately
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite or Google alternatives; comfortable in a Mac environment
  • An understanding of the inner workings of the local church is advantageous
  • Screen printing knowledge a plus
  • Being outgoing and a natural conversationalist is a HUGE advantage

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the employee to sit for extended periods of timeand work both independently and in a team environment.
