Position Reporting:

This position is part of Sunday Cool – Human Resources reporting to the HR Manager/Executive Operations Manager

Work Schedule:  

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm [40 hours/week], 8-week commitment preferred.

Internship begins May 4, 2025

Note: This is a full time, seasonal, hourly position, that will be based out of our main location, located at 510 E Alfred St. Tavares, FL32778.

Compensation:

The HR Intern hourly rate is $14 per hour, eligible for overtime pay. College credits may be arranged. Work experience at #98 on the Inc 5000's list

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with new hire onboarding tasks, including preparing paperwork, collecting I‑9 documentation, and updating employee files.
  • Support the HR team with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining accurate employee information.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture‑building activities.
  • Assist with posting job openings, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Help maintain compliance documentation and ensure forms are completed and stored properly.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects, audits, and process improvements.
  • Special assignments or tasks assigned by the HR Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:‍

  • Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited 2-or 4-year program or institution and have completed at least one semester OR recent college graduate (within the last 12 months).
    • Students who have not yet graduated from high school but have dual enrollment with a college are not eligible to apply.
    • Those who have taken college courses but are currently taking “time off” from school are also not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be at least 17 years of age by the time the internship begins.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
